In a lushly fabric-adorned garden next to the new Holland & Sherry Bespoke boutique (209 Elizabeth St, Ste B), interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud of the eponymous design firm, debuted her new indoor/outdoor fabric line with Holland & Sherry: The Comptoirs Collection.
The designs, which were displayed not only on cushions but also in playful suits and bow ties (Holland & Sherry began as a textile supplier on Saville Row more than 180 years ago), was inspired by 15th century Portuguese sea exploration. “The fabrics speak to the exotic and romantic,” says Champalimaud.
